Learning to connect primary domain to HubSpot CMS Hub account is the very first step before to host your website on this shiny new no-code platform. In this tutorial here, you’ll find all the necessary steps to connect the primary domain to CMS Hub Starter plan.

What is Primary Domain in HubSpot?

HubSpot’s CMS Hub and Marketing Hub tools allow users to add multiple domains (unless restricted to just one domain by the subscription plan) and use them to host the different web content.

For example, suppose you’ve two domains fthemes.net and fastestthemes.com. You can connect one of these as a primary domain and the other one will be automatically added as secondary one.

Usually, the primary domain also works as the brand domain for your HubSpot CMS Hub account. Both CMS Hub Starter and Professional plan are limited to use just one brand domain. If you wish to host multiple domains in these two subscriptions, you can do that via sub-domains. You can reach out to me if this is an issue bugging you and I’ll point you in the right direction.
